The LS-88 ListenIR iDSP is a portable assistive hearing system designed for venues requiring effective audio support in small to medium-sized rooms. Compact and durable, the system is housed in a robust carrying case, ensuring easy transportation and storage for quick deployment.
At the heart of the system is a 360-degree microphone, placed on a table or flat surface near the audio source, such as speakers or a discussion group. The microphone connects to the Listen Technologies LT-84 infrared transmitter/radiator, which distributes the audio as invisible infrared light throughout the room.
Users who need hearing assistance are provided with wireless infrared receivers, allowing them to clearly hear the transmitted audio. They can choose between a single earphone for discreet listening or a neck-worn induction loop for compatibility with hearing aids.
